South Devon based printmaker and mixed media artist exploring our human-nature connection

.
Thought-provoking organic 3D works on handmade paper, that are an emotional response to our deep-rooted connection to nature, reflecting on its wonder and fragility.
Layered with meaning and history, intertwining foraged plants, raw pigments, fibres and microplastic, theses 3D works aren't just inspired by nature, but nature has become an integral part of the work itself-a “trace of place” embedded in every piece.
Past and present interplay, allowing us room to contemplate the future state of our planet and the ever-increasing threat from climate change.

Latest Work
This latest series of work, Tipping Point is shinning a light on the fragile state of our coastlines with the threat from climate change and human pollution. I have been embedding micro plastics and ink made from carbon emissions into the work as poignant reminder of these sometimes hidden human created threats.
Events
I am going to be exhibiting five of my latest works alongside other conemporary artists at The Brownston Gallery, Modbury, Devon. The exhibition 'Sacred Earth' focuses on artists that are inspired by nature in their practice and part of the sales will be donated to Surfers Against Sewage and Till the Coast is Clear
